View: George Barker from Niagara Falls. View says down left: “The Johnstown Calamity. Wreck at the Stone Bridge”. The guy below doesn’t look as if he’s a real victim to us, but more as an artificial touch of extra drama to the scene.

Grade: 7/8.  Flat beige mount cabinet sized stereoview 1889. A few very slight damages to the right image.

View: A George Barker view, published by Underwood and Underwood. View says: “The Johnstown Calamity – General View of the Wrecked City, USA”. Again this obvious “actor” added to the stage.

View: R. K. Bonine from Tyrone, Pa. This is view #8 from a well known series of this elaborate photographer. Backside label says: “A view in the heart of the city, showing debris piled up in front of the Post Office”. Second building on the right is The Tribune newspaper office.

Grade: 7.  Grey flat mount stereoview 1889. Some general wear but overall in great shape with sharp pictures in perfect 3D.
