KEYSTONE SHIPMENT BOX FULL OF VIEWS

This is quite an unusual stereoview box. Not for storage, but for shipment! Last used to send views to R. Wallace Troemner in Philadelphia. To judge by the green 1c “for defense” stamps this must have been somewhere in the 1940’s.

This box is made of very sturdy dark gray cardboard. Of course age shows, but cardboard and strap are in nice non deteriorated condition. A great and unusual find!

This box is filled with 19 gray curved mount views. Thirteen are Holland views, the rest is from other Europe countries and one shows an Egypt mosque. Nice bunch. We show a few below. These curved mounts are difficult to scan, so they show not as sharp as they really are! If you want to see more, feel free to ask at info@stereoviewheaven.com. Grade: Box 8 and Views 7 to 9 (on a scale from 1 to 10).  Great sturdy box with no damages. Strap still functioning. Pasted paperwork is partly gone. Views are good to excellent.
